Nordic Folkboat - 'Zoetje' - £7,500
Built in 1962 by GR Kroes Boatbuilders in the Netherlands, Zoetje is a beautiful example of a traditional clinker built Nordic Folkboat and has been lovingly sailed and maintained over the years.
Recently featured in the beautiful sailing documentary ‘Wind, Tide, and Oar’ which is a compelling exploration of engineless sailing, shot on analogue film over three years.
She comes with a good ownership and maintenance history with recent work including:
Toe rails and rubbing strake replaced using Khaya (African Mahogany) to match to original Honduran.
Deck epoxy coated, and edges re-glassed down the sheer plank.
Coveline repainted and varnished.
Transom re-furbished and re-varnished.
Mast tabernacle refurbished to give better rake angle.
Electric winch to raise and lower the mast.
Lifting outboard bracket.
She has a full cockpit ‘in-use’ cover and full winter cover.
